Kilometres for Kids 2009
This website was created to support Terry and Meghan Kelly's Tour of Canada. Your encouragement and support will help them make a difference in children's lives through the Canadian Feed The Children organization.
A bit of history: In May of 1999, Terry rode from Stanley Park in Vancouver to Lansdowne Park in Ottawa to raise funds for Canadian Feed The Children. He did so alone and without technical support under the banner of ‘Kilometres for Kids’. By riding four days on and one day off, week after week, he eventually logged a little over 4,700 kilometres in just over five weeks.
The 2009 trip – called “Kilometres for Kids ‘09” – comes almost exactly a decade later. It will symbolically complete the route that started at the Pacific Ocean in May 1999, and will go from Lansdowne Park in Ottawa to the Public Gardens, in Halifax, on the Atlantic Ocean.
