About the Team

Meet the father and daughter who will cycle from Ottawa to Halifax to raise funds for Canadian Feed The Children!

Terry Kelly

Terry’s love for “endurance” cycling began in the mid-80s when he started commuting to and from work. Long-distance cycling has since grown to become one of his passions. He rides from 4,500 to 6,000 kilometres every season.

When Terry is not cycling, he runs a small aviation safety consultancy in Ottawa. His other passions include reading, music and life.

Meghan Kelly

Meghan is in her final year of medical school at the University of Toronto. By the time of the fundraiser, she will be weeks away from starting her training as a general practitioner. Over the years, she has become familiar with the poor and the marginalised. She has volunteered with organisations such as Medecins Sans Frontiers, Dignitas International and Canadian Feed The Children. She has travelled and worked in developing countries in Africa, South East Asia and Latin America. Some of her passions that extend beyond medicine and travel include hiking, bicycling, yoga, reading a great book, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Meghan is very excited about this opportunity to support her father and Canadian Feed The Children. It is a wonderful chance to raise funds and awareness, to spend some quality time with her father, to get some fresh air and exercise, and to see a beautiful part of Canada in a way that many are not able to experience.
